COMPREHENSIVE CERTIFICATION LEVEL I
The Peak Pilates® Comprehensive Certification is a three-level modular program that is designed to deliver the highest quality authentic Pilates education. It is the foundational level of Pilates professional education which covers the mat, reformer, tower, chairs, barrels and auxiliary equipment. The Comprehensive Certification is a classical Pilates education program distinguished by an emphasis on Pilates as an integrated movement system as Joseph Pilates intended.
Module 1: (April 5-7) The Foundation (20 hours) introduces students to the Pilates principles, fundamentals and the “Powerhouse”, and the Peak Pilates® 5-Part Formula. Lessons focus on introductory mat work and building blocks.
Module 2: (May 3-5) Introduction to the Apparatus (20 hours) Students progress to lessons on the reformer, small barrel and high ladder barrel, and learn about transitions, cueing and touch techniques.
Module 3: (June 21-23) Beginner/Intermediate Level Apparatus (20 hours) Module 3 adds Pilates low chair exercises, intermediate level reformer and ladder barrel exercises. More advanced teaching concepts include identifying common errors and proper body alignment, and structuring a Pilates session.
Module 4: (Aug 30-Sep 1) Teaching, Technique and Assessments (20 hours) Students complete the remaining high ladder barrel exercises, practice teach, and review all exercises. Assessments are completed on the final day. A Peak Pilates® Level I Certification is awarded to instructors who pass all Level I assessments and complete 120 logged hours.
COMPREHENSIVE LEVEL II

February 14-16, 2020
Level I certification must be achieved before attending this course. In addition, students must first complete 100 hours as a Level I teacher: 60 hours of personal practice/observation and 40 hours teaching.
Participants will build upon the skills learned in Level I including the Peak Pilates 5-Part Formula for Success, Pilates key concepts, fundamentals, and mat and apparatus techniques. Homework assigned on the second day will help participants to assimilate the knowledge and skills learned. At the conclusion of the course, participants will receive action plans to guide their further practice and refinement of skills.
Certification requires successful completion of both modules, as well as passing scores on practical and written assessments.

MVE CHAIR CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSE
November 16-17, 2019
Experience the Pilates chair for the first time or in a new way. The MVe Chair Instructor Workshop is a two-day training with a focus on teaching small group chair classes set to music in a studio or health club setting. Utilize your group exercise, personal training and/or Pilates knowledge in conjunction with MVe to expand your clientele and programming opportunities. The workshop focuses on teaching the Perfect Ten Chair exercises, beginner to intermediate chair exercises and fitness fusion exercises. You will learn how to deliver three pre-designed, music-driven MVe Fitness Chair workouts that utilize the entire body in the most fun and effective patterns possible. Upon completion of the course you will receive a certificate of attendance valid for 16 Peak Pilates CECs, 10 AFAA CEUs and 4 Spinning STAR points.
Prerequisites and Preparation: Some pre-course preparation is necessary; you’ll need to read a small portion of the Manual and watch one DVD prior to attending the workshop. Please also note that this workshop includes workouts and practical application, and is appropriate for healthy, fit individuals.
Course Materials: Upon registering for the course, you’ll receive a visually rich MVe Instructor Manual, an instructor education DVD and three follow-along workout DVDs.
